Haunted By Ghosts

About Me

Sarah Reddington has been working hard and making music in Denton for four years. They are leaving now, but before they go, they want to thank all of the places and people that have meant so much to them over the years. Daniel Folmer, Chris Garver, New Science Projects, Ryan Thomas Becker and Grady Donn, Gutterth, Aaron White and Current Leaves, Jc!, Rubber Gloves, J&J's Pizza, Recycled, Strawberry Fields, Glenn Farris, Joshaa, Teenage Symphony, George Neal, Secret Headquarters, Scott Porter, Harlin and the Porch, The International, and everybody else who has helped them along the way.
They're moving to Portland to pursue music and art and trees, but they'll be seeing you soon.

What some nice people have said about us:
"Sarah Reddington plays pretty straightforward, summer breezy folk rock/country pop tunes that are actually quite warm and familiar sounding without ever getting cheesy or overly derivative. This is tough to pull off typically. Oh yeah, they have a good singer too.... another DFWd rarity."- We Shot Jr
"Cody Seals is not Sarah Reddington"- Jonanna Widener (Dallas Observer)
"Sarah Reddington and Voot Cha Index open; I’ve seen both bands in the past two weeks and the sets were so horrid I wanted to gouge my ears out with Casio Keyboards"- Sam Mackovich (Formerly of the Dallas Observer
"Sarah Reddington is one of the best ones around! instant classics"- Delmore Pilcrow
"Sarah Reddington appeals to all the things you know we like best: solid song structures, good vocals, tight melodies, etc. They're definitely a band to keep an eye and ear on."- Bobby Ewing Dreams
"Last night, Sarah Reddington folk-country-Denton-beard-rocked my face off....The Reddington set featured some of the most artful tambourine I've ever seen, and the keyboards made them far more interesting to listen to than most folkie beard bands."- Wee Demon Dot Com

October Update

Hello you sweet, sweet blog readers. We probably won't be playing any shows for the rest of this year since we're working on our full length album, which will be recorded with Jc! sometime in December...
