Eibon

1989 – Rehearsal tape released entitled “Immortal Bestiality” executing 3 tracks. Original members: Psycho Shalwend on vocals, Sufferer on bass, Yod on guitars, Deen on drums.

1990 – Official demo, “Death of the Living Corpses”. After the release, agreement could not be reached within the members. So, the rest of the pack departed, leaving Psycho Shalwend, the only original member left.

1991 – Enters the new line up. Aemonius Daemon on bass, Teutonic Guardian on guitars, Abysmal Impaler on drums and Psycho Shalwend on Guitar/Vocals. New demo executed “Spirit Of Barbuelis”, recorded in a 24 tracks studio with Thoth (Ilemauzar(RIP)) on keyboards, Necroskinner (Sexfago(RIP)) doing backing vocals and Devilry Proserfine on female vocals. One of the most welcoming release to have been spread worldwide. Lots of labels showed their interest in the band. But more problems rises internally. So, lots of big opportunity was dismissed and the band had to go through another change.

1992 – 1994 – More line up problems and changes. Shalwend auditioned new members, thus born Pyrannaste (Drums), Ackwalandar (Bass), Shalwend (Guitars/Vocals), Angra Mainyu (Keyboards). Eibon ,then signed to a local minor label, Dark Artz Releases, then traveled north to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to record their debut full length, “The Garden of Theophrastus”. An epic release, that make fans of dark melodic metal music still listens till this day. This albums also includes weird but rather sick female backing vocals, courtesy of Nishia and Dana Adonay.

1995 – “The Garden of Theophrastus” officially released on cassettes only. However, the album promotion was really bad. It never reach the world. Both label and band were inexperienced on promoting the album, alas it doesn’t circulates well.

1996 – First ever gig for the band, album launch in Johore Bahru, Malaysia. “Symphony of The Evening Breeze” consists of both Singapore and Malaysia metal artistes. First time Eibon headline a show with over 1000 crowds.

1997 - Debut album printed on cds by Dark Artz Releases. It also comes with bonus tracks taken from previous demo, “Spirits of Barbuelis”. Eibon faces another line up problem. Many events cancelled.

1998 – Most major events cancelled. Eibon found new players and spend most of the time rehearsing in studio.

1999 – Eibon hosted “Chaos 99”, an event organized by Dark Artz Releases, involving local talents, such as Impiety, Rudra, Doxomedon etc. The gig was considered very eventful and local success. Eibon lines up Shalwend: Vocals, Tyrannous: Guitars, Xik-Bastard: Guitars, Xik-Farc: Bass, Juhrymm: Drums, Azzmahn: Keyboards, most of them just session for this gig purpose.

2000 – Involved with another gig, “Panzer Holocaust”, before entering local studio, Aleeve Studio, to record 4 tracks meant for EP, financed by Dark Artz Releases. Line up involved for the “Ineffable Prodigious Odyssey” recordings were; Shalwend: Vocals, Tyrannous: Guitars, Prodigal: Bass, Pyrannaste: Drums. Extras on the MCD were; Eusoph: Lead Solo, Scyammayel: Lead Solo and Shefaz: Female Vox. Recordings were successful however, Dark Artz Releases decided to end it’s existence few weeks after the recording ends. “Ineffable Prodigious Odyssey” was shelved.

2001 – An organizer in Perak, Malaysia invites the band to a”Loudblast Anthems Metal Festival”. A gig in the city of Ipoh.

2002 – Conscripted further new players for the band; Shalwend: Vocals, Tyrannous: Guitars, Scyammayel: Guitars, Prodigal: Bass, Xennoz: Keyboards, Vociferous: Drums.

2003 – Executes a project gig organized by local School of Fine Arts, “Obsession” March 29 th . Another gig in Johore Bahru “Untuk Apa Erti Berkawan Part 3” on July 13 th ,also engage Eibon to a label deal with Orgasmatron for the MCD entitled, “Ineffable Prodigious Odyssey, a 4 song mini cd. November 29 th , open for local act in Singapore gig. On December 28 th , Eibon displayed another local live gig.

2004 – "Ineffable Prodigious Odyssey” Mcd released on a 3”inch cd by Orgasmatron. Thus, on June 19 th , played mini launch gig for the mcd. Also launched in Tg Pinang, Indonesia on August 29 th . Eibon then involved in another local gig on October 2 nd .

2005 – Opens the year with a gig, “New Year MetalBlast” in Negri Sembilan, Malaysia on January 2 nd , “Extreme Terror”, a local gig on January 8 th , “Gods of Metal”, another local gig on March 27 th . Eibon is currently recording a new full length and also looking for a label.
