narrowly missing becoming a greek citizen, i was thrust into the world before my time and grew from a very small 2 lbs. to relatively big over a number of years. a moon sign. born mid-summer. must undergo brief periods of intense marine rejuvination.

a short musical overview... began musical career humming sinusoid ragas along to the vacuum while doing chores, singin' and playing fiddle for the grandparents, began officially on bass with The Frowns(hummed basslines before buying a bass ~a theme?) playing bastardized mod-garage-r&b, joined The Bards(bass) , formed The Swinging Gurus The Mustard(bass) but left before/or because they went grunge, formed Thee Gnostics(guitar,vocals,organ,theremin) became one of theThe Double Feature Creatures(drums), playing occasionaly with folk/jazz group The Fourth Way also known as Elutheria(drums),then left Hamilton to play in The Polyester Explosion(guitar,vocals), became The Phantom Pleasurer; a founding member of The Tijuana Bibles(organ), The Satisfaction(guitar,vocals), recorded as mock west coast pop art experimental tribute band The Smoke Rings, Then joined The Flashing Lights(organ,tambourine,guitar),recorded a few lps did some videos and tourings and then upon the groups disolution, joined More Plastic(organ,guitar),then formed THE SAFFRON SECT. I also feel extreemly honoured to have been invited to play on records by The Ugly Ducklings, Les Sequelles, & The Exploders.

My Interests

scandinavian pancakes, copper ales, black ollives, strubb's dill pickles, lemon shred, marmalade, spinach, swiss chard~kale!
lordly leapers, twig tweakers, saffron freakers, hi-heel sneakers, weirdies, beardies, vikings, switched-on tomorrow people, afghan hounds, violent hash smokers, chocolate machine-shakers, raw ramps, erik satie, shirley collins, anita eckberg, alan bates, phil may, mimi farina, richard farina, slade, noddy holder, noddy the elf, Julie Driscoll, Brian Auger, moccasin maids, streamy wades, golden hairs and record players, oh, and...i'd like to meet these flower fairies we've all heard so damn much about!
