here's the skinny, this has been and continues to be a one man basement recording setup thriving on the charity of other local guest musicians to lend their vocal and musical talents to the creation of a song. luckily i'm finding more peope that might help me build this back up to a live band if i should ever get a show op, as for now, this site is really more of a channel into the stagnant day-to day of minor changes in a retentively edited and shuffled catalogue. just for the sound..I'd have to say that I strive to convey some audible equivalent of those static-soaked images on home movies and old tv, this sense of the medium as a myth, capturing and preserving some ethereal moment of the original experience. Before alll this commercial mumbo jumbo, think of the sheer quantity of images specific to the modern age that first sprouted into our perception via the tubes and the radio waves, some electric, surreal force perpetually beating in the vacant air around us. By musically attempting to formulate some dreamy, woozy, true-to-form manifestation of some universal experience by means of emotion, use of modern images to establish some subtle free associations that hold them all together, some ethereal magical, mythical, warm-tube sounding hum of glue.
