About Me

I'm *Guitargrrl**, and I have been playing the guitar for a great number of years. At the age of five, my parents discovered me playing songs note for note on my baby guitar. Some what alarmed, they immediatley enrolled me in guitar lessons. I studied with teachers from Berklee & learned a great deal with them. Throughout high school I played in a cover band Strider.Eventually, I played throughout the Philadelphia and Southern Jersey music scene with an original band called Fake ID & filled in for other projects. Later, I acquired my Bachelor's Degree in Music with a concentration in Music Therapy where I studied classical guitar.For the past few years, I played lead guitar with Shiragirl for the Warped Tour. I've opened or played with Joan Jett, Brian Setzer, Rancid, Paramore, and many more major acts. Locally, I've played w/KSB, Leiana. Currently, I play guitar with Da Rezarekt.
