DJ Young Rye, a Virginia native, is a multi-faceted entrepreneur who prides himself and pleases others with his DJ abilities and knack for providing an atmosphere for optimum entertainment. Cousin to Super-Producer Just Blaze and Jay Z's 40/40's own DJ Poun', DJ Young Rye has been exposed to some of the best talent in the industry and continues to expand his base through wide spread exposure and word of mouth. DJ Young Rye started a DJing career at the guidance of his well-accomplished cousins as a 2nd year at the University of Virginia. Between a heavy academic schedule and growing demand for his services, he quickly developed an entrepreneur savvy which eventually led to other successful endeavors; Event Planning, Marketing/Promotions, and Radio. Convinced in his abilities and the continual growth of exposure and support, DJ Young Rye has grown from the typical weekend DJ on campus, to DJing at some of the most exclusive nightclubs, parties, shows, and large scale events up and down the east coast as well as the mid west and far west coast.
