About Me

Proud to say that I am the Mom of a preemie. My Mollie was born ten weeks early at 2lbs. 10 oz but don't think for one minute that she has let that hold her back. At six months old, she is 13 lbs of giggles and grins combined with the right mix of determination and attitude. Now I understand Mama bears completely! There isn't anything that I won't do to protect my little munchkin. Love to go dancing with my girlfriends - yes, we can be a bit catty sometimes but it's almost always justifiable - our guiding principle is "Simply because they make it in your size, DOES NOT mean that you should wear it!" Not saying that we are perfect; we just know what looks good- and if we aren't sure, we always get a second or third opinion BEFORE we leave the house. I can't stand liars or racists; if that's what you are about, then we have nothing to discuss. I love my family and my friends - they are my foundation and the ones that stood by me and Mollie when we needed them.

Books:

Heroes:

As of February 10,2007, my 8 year old nephew who faced his paralyzing fear of needles head on. Forty eight hours prior to that date, he was diagnosed with Type 1 Juvenile Diabetes, which means that he will have to receive insulin injections every day for the rest of his life. His entire life changed in one afternoon and yet he is still the same smart, goofy, sweet natured , kind-spirited, well-mannered, video-game loving, kid that he was before. I can only hope that I will face challenges in my own life with such resilience.
