Music:

Yes, The Mercury Program, Jesu/Godflesh, U2, The Flaming Lips, Pet-Sounds-era-Beach Boys, The Velvet Teen, Dave Brubeck, R. Kelly, Neurosis, The Gloria Record/Mineral, Zombi (best live show ever), Mouth of the Architect, The Album Leaf, The Fall of Troy, Zappa, Mastodon, Mike Jones, (who? MIKE JONES!!) Sunny Day Real Estate, older-Get Up Kids, ISIS, Tool, Hum, ATDI/Mars Volta/thefirstSpartaEP, Sufjan Stevens, Aphex Twin, The fucking Doors man, Explosions in the Sky, Carrigan, The Static Age, the Cancer Conspiracy - ya Burlington, Pinback, John Frusciante, The Appleseed Cast, Mogwai, Botch, Minus the Bear - basically anything Matt Bayles has worked on other than that Pearl Jam record, The Police, Travis Morrison/The Dismemberment Plan, Autechre, The Jimmy Chamberlain Complex, Codeseven (hardcore and cutsy emo-space-pop) Husker Du/Bob Mould/Sugar, Chin Up Chin Up, cKy - I don't care if that makes me uncool. Dr. Dre, Eminem's 2nd record, Iron and Wine, Caspian, M83, Depeche Mode, Fleetwood Mac - Rumours, Cave In when they played space rock, Do Make Say Think, Duran Duran, I'm learning to love John Coltrane and Miles Davis, Don't Look Back, Ryan Adams, Sigur Ros, Earth Crisis, BT, Nick Drake, NoFX (I might get old but they never will), Thrice, Brazil, Quicksand, Type O Negative, Worser, Stevie Wonder (songs in the key of life is the pinnacle) Russian Circles, Samael, Operation Ivy, Shuggie Otis!, Alanis Morisette, Texas is the Reason, Van Morrison -Astral Weeks, Tortoise, Bjork, Opeth, Shiner/The Life and Times, Crime In Choir, Dredg (sorry),Brian Eno, Sasha, Flatt & Scruggs, Faith No More, Danzig, 70's King Crimson, The Rise Park, Failure/Autolux, The D, Paul Van Dyk, Augustus Pablo, Phil Collins (with and without Genesis), Genesis (with and without Peter Gabriel), Elliott (RIP), King Tubby, Baby Boy H, Junius, Seneca, REM, Jimmy Eat World (from the self titled on BWR all the way to Futures), and of course... the Beatles.

Television:

Arrested Development is the best show ever created. Entourage is amazing, The whole Jerry Seinfeld/Larry David thing is the gift that keeps on giving. Scrubs is an addiction. I'm sad now that Six Feet Under is over - but that show was depressing as hell. The X-files works too - but only when I'm fucked up, alone or in the woods of Maine.
