The Flicks

Violence and Treasure

About Me

From the sleepy backwaters nestled on the banks of the river Tyne a rumbling could be heard drifting on the breeze. As the sound grew gradually louder the wailings of guitars fused with the rumbling and was joined by a voice with a vision. A new day seemed to be rising. Upon further investigation the source of this sound was identified as Metty Metcalfe's garage. It was the summer of 2002 and music was being reinvented..... 4 years on and The Flicks have since stuttered, started, stalled and stuttered some more, finding themselves locked in the murky depths of The Spekeland, Liverpool. Having spent a year in Edinburgh which promised much, had moments of brilliance, but ultimately disappointed, The Flicks are hellbent on recording an album which will either make or break them. What the future holds for our indolent warriors has never been so unclear. So please listen to our music and if you like it, get behind us and join us on a new journey to either great heights or supreme lows. Either way we'll definitely have some fun on the way.....

Setting the Wheels in Motion
