A musician for over a dozen years, Bro has has been fine-tuning the art of song writing for a long long time now. His first influences were from the vein of heavy metal, with artists such as Pantera, Slayer, Sepultura, Deftones and Slipknot. This fueled his guitar work with then band "SlaveHead".
In 2001, upon a chance meeting with Palmatron, Bro was first introduced to the sound of Drum and Bass. While the fast paced beats, and booming bass-lines were intriguing, it wasn't until 2005, upon another chance meeting with Palmatron, that the styles really started to strike a chord. It wasn't the UK style of DnB that grabbed Bro's attention, but the more state-side represented style of Ragga-Jungle. Artists like Paulie Walnuts & Twinhooker, The Archangel, Jahba, Tester, Jacky Murda, and Sound Murderer became Bro's new major influences.
In the years to come, Bro would begin his song writing again. Since 2005, Bro's catalog has expanded to include over 30 original tunes, Babylon DC was released on the Survival Story 2-CD Ragga Jungle Compilation, and Run Di Badman Choon was donated to the Respect benefit album. His new sound feels like home now, and we can only expect more to come in the future.
