About Me

"Ain't nobody ever accomplished anything by being caught up in self pity." --Mr. T
Take a moment and go to your happy place. Whatever place that may be, from the ball pit at Chucky Cheese’s, to a winning card at bingo night, the sensation you get is the same one Mr. Machine hopes to embody in their music. In the spring of 2006, four like-minded friends united with a common goal: to help the world “turn its frown upside down. Their plan, to loosen the Bible Belt of the South and get its hips moving to full potential. With high-energy melodies and ingeniously powerful vocals, the band combines an array of pure pop bliss with a mixture of independent sounds comparable only to a bag of trail mix, making a combination almost as perfect as peanut butter and jelly.
Hailing from Calhoun, Georgia (WTF?), Mr. Machine awkwardly relates to the unexpected Girl Scout at your front door who ultimately leaves you wanting more. They are the latest in a proud heritage of well-named entertainers from Mr. Clean to Mr. T himself. Mr. Machine harkens back to a day when "pop music" was not synonymous with "yet another break-up song", their music is a testament to your first day of vacation and your last day of school. For the past year, the band has been sticking true to their tenacious do it yourself attitude, and have been hard at work spreading their music like wildfire. They’ve shared the stage with numerous national acts and have already recorded two power pop masterpieces. The release of “Its O.K. Kid” in the summer of 2006 helped light a torch in the southeast, however with the upcoming release of their second EP “Hello my name is…” Mr. Machine hopes to spread until only Smokey himself can stop them.
The band's four members, Josh Brown, Josh Owens, Saad Hanif, and Matt Herndon have thus far stayed true to a product of such quality that whether you be Mr. T, Mr. Clean, Mr. Rogers, or just a fan of Mr. Goodbars, you are left struggling to get their jingles out of your head. What does Mr. Machine have in store for their listeners next? Well, that remains a Mr. E.
