Hmmm...I have to say that I have a pretty cool job that enables my personal and professional lives to blur into one quite nicely. I am account director at one of Europes leading Media agencies - Cake and privileged to run the music sponsorship programme for Carling. The only holistic music programme currently in the UK - Carling live life loud at The Carling Weekend:Reading and Leeds Festivals, are associated with the cathedrals of cool aka The Carling Academies (of which Brixton is my favourite) and do mad crazy things like 24 Hour gigs such as Carling Live 24 (last one headlined by Razorlight, Ian Brown and Kaiser Chiefs!). As a result I get to go to the hottest gigs all the time and stand in muddy fields during the summer up and down the country.
Before that?...Well for 12 years I owned one of the biggest and longest running Dance Clubs in the North. Born out of the Rave Generation - I was happy/moody in life as an Indie kid struggling through an American Studies degree in Preston. Whilst working at a Prodigy gig at the Uni that we had put on, Eric tapped me on the shoulder and opened up my mind to a whole new culture.Currently living in the Broadway Market area of the city (unofficially the new Shoreditch)
