I have lived in large cities like Vancouver, as well as camps with 4 people in the beautiful nass valley, to remote cabins in the mountains... Which do I prefer? Lets just say I trust predictable grizzly bears before unpredictable people in the city's throngs.
I admire the works of T.S. Eliot, his dark words personifying beautiful things. As well Robert Service with his gold trail rhyming,I remember being 9 and having my picture taken outside Robert Services rundown historic log cabin that had a dirt roof with grass and flowers growing on it, and thinking that was just the greatest thing that could happen to me. hehe... Funny thing, even though I have no belief in God, one of my favorite poems of all times is 'Footprints'. I'm not quite sure why I shared that with you.
Robert Bateman with his attention to detail, and John Schnuurrenburger (the modern day Charlie Russell) are two of my favorite artists, of course I love Charlie Russells works. But my all time favorite painter is my Dad, even though he's his own worst critic and downplays them, his art comes alive and is beautiful.
I've read so many good books I wouldn't even know where to start with favorite authors.I am a great lover of the written word and can lose whole days on my deck with a good book.
Your soul is the most important root of your existance, keep it healthy and it will return the favor in every aspect of life. I love to garden and through nurturing my plants I nurture myself. Sounds simple huh?
Life is short? Life is long? Doesn't really matter which opinion you have as long as you 'live it well'! People have thier share of ups and downs, I have a 3 D's rule when things seem crappy... define it, dissect it, and destroy it. After all, our existance is nothing more than a pedagogue, treat it as such and you will live a more enlightened life.
K thats me in a nutshell, I'm not always that serious, I am a party girl too hehe.
