I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Hmm, where to begin? My name's Steven, but most who've known me for quite some time might know me as Scuba. Presently, I reside just minutes from downtown in West Ashley. I'm a Southern Yankee. I was born in Lambertville,NJ where some of my family are still at today. I miss the snow dearly, and would love to move back up north, but hate the cost of living up there.I have grown to love being on the water. I learned how to swim when I was 4, and haven't stopped since. Getting me out of the water during the summer isn't an easy task. During the spring and summer months, I'll be found on the lake, on a jetski, or in the boat trying to wake board, or tube. I enjoy being outdoors. I enjoy baseball and tennis, even though I'm not the best at them. I still try though.

My Interests

Being outdoors. I enjoy camping. It's a past time favorite of mine that I don't get to do anymore. I enjoy being around a bonfire, roasting marshmellows and making s'mores. I enjoy working on cars in my spare time. VW/Audi cars are my passion. Knowing the in's and out's of cars keeps me going. I also enjoy being out on the water. Whether that be in a boat, kayak, canoe, or whatever, it's all relaxing.

I'd like to meet:

I really don't know, in all honesty. Anyone ever say life is confusing at times? Someone who's spontaneous, down to earth, someone who enjoys a night out, or a night in on the couch. Mannerisms are a win for me.

Music:

I have a wide selection of music that I enjoy. Pop, rock, Christian, gospel, etc. I really have come to enjoy the newest from Red, and Flyleaf. Some others that I like are Filter, Three Days Grace, Switchfoot, Rebecca St James, dc Talk, Boston, Mariah Carey, Seether, Hurt, The Cranberries, Tonic, Lifehouse, Jem, Evanescence, Imogen Heap, Edwin McCain, Chevelle, and Breaking Benjamin.I've come enjoy Tool's 10,000 Days. I also enjoy Switchfoot, Godsmack, Evanescence, Three Days Grace, Filter, Green Day, Perfect Circle, Jem, Breaking Benjamin, 3 Doors Down, Chevelle, 10 Years, Bush, Alterbridge, 32 Leaves, Hinder and Seether to name a few. I also listen to some pop,hip hop, and dance/house music, but all depends on my mood.

Movies:

Big Daddy, What Women Want, Independance Day, American Pie series, Lord of the Ring Series, Fight Club, Fast and Furious, Jurassic Park, Terminator Series, Shall We Dance, Good Will Hunting, Sixth Sense, Seven, Cast Away, Patriot Games, Hunt for Red October, Crazy/Beautiful, Meet the Parents, Mummy, Pearl Harbor, Saving Private Ryan, The Notebook, X-Men 3, Fried Green Tomatoes, Signs, 10 Things I Hate About You, The Patriot, and tons of other things.

Television:

American Chopper, Overhaulin, Trading Spaces, What Not to Wear, Modern Marvels, the occasional SouthPark, Dirty Jobs, CSI, Chapell Show, MythBusters, Greys Anatomy, and Deadliest Catch.

Books:

It's been some time since I last read a good novel. I enjoy my car magazines more, such as Road&Track, Popular Mechanics, Consumer Reports, and Car&Driver.

Heroes:

My Dad. He's a great Christian man, and always has the right answers or right advice. If he doesnt, he'll find out. I'm his only son, and he'll do anything to make me happy.
