Earl Orr Jr.’s soul, passion and pocket, have taken him from coast to coast. As full time professional drummer, he’s been privileged to share the stage and studio with some of the worlds most accomplished musicians, such as Van Hunt, Fred Hammond, Earl Klugh, and the renowned Kern Brantley (music director to Beyonce, Janet Jackson, and Chris Brown).Earls roots go deep into the rich musical heritage of Detroit Michigan where he was trained and mentored under two time Grammy winning gospel producer/conductor Steven Ford, Grammy nominated producer Michael Brooks and Grammy winning producer/artist Fred Hammond. Earl’s disciplined study of music have enabled him to creatively weave in and out of every stylistic genera on even the most demanding gigs.Known for being well prepared, thoroughly professional, and always a team player, Earl puts soul, creativity, and his own signature groove into every song. He’s always excited to take on new challenges and to share the creative experience with everyone he meets on the artistic journey.
