About Me

Moving to Portland has so far been great! After growing up in Eugene and spending 6 years in Corvallis, this is a nice change.
I'm still trying to figure out where I want to work after I graduate...anyone know of any good clinical pharmacy jobs out there? :P
Practicing clinical pharmacy on the medical floors, rounding with doctors, optimizing therapies, etc...this stuff is way more challenging and interesting than working at Rite-Aid :) I think 8 years of school at will probably be enough, but I don't think I want the 40 hour work week and the "real world" just yet. Paying back Uncle Sam for the large investment he made in a fine student like myself will have to wait as long as I can possibly delay it :)
I'm still trying to plan a trip abroad this summer...thinking asia or central america/the carribbean....any suggestions (japan, china, vietnam, singapore, thailand, belize, costa rica, & peru all sound good)?
Camping, hiking, basketball, biking (my brother-in-law is trying to get me into it), running, scuba diving, frisbee, rock climbing, tennis...trying to pick up surfing, snowboarding, etc; I never have enough time to do enough of it, especially when I'm doing a full-time internship as opposed to regular school where we only had a few hours of class a day.
well, here are some more pics...
As I said, SCUBA diving is awesome, and now that I have a good underwater camera, I'm even more excited! I just got finished saving a sea turtle in Hilo that was all tangled up in fishing line (it was wrapped around her neck and one flipper cutting deep into the skin - pics to follow soon)! It was my first wildlife rescue operation and hopefully not the last. I've almost acquired all the gear I need to dive on my own so hopefully some more adventures in the cold pacific or some mountain lakes are in my future.
My awesome cat that can hunt anything!....well, anything that's about the size of a small bird or smaller :)
Camping & Hiking in the 3 Sisters Wilderness
At Silver Creek Falls; awesome place with amazing views. You have to go there if you've never been!
My summer vacation in Alaska was amazing! Climbing mountains, finding wild bears (and cute bear cubs), eagles as numerous as pigeons, sea kayaking, sea lions, and getting lost in the wilderness, :)
I have to go back!
Anyways, If you haven't heard from me in a while or if you're an old classmate or somehow know me, let me know how you're doing!
