I am from Gulfport, Mississippi and I moved to Dallas in June of 2003. I currently am the Operations Manager for a franchise of hair salons in the DFW metroplex. I love my job just about as much as I love my Team. Anyways, so about 2 1/2 months ago, I got a really bad crick in my neck, and 2 weeks later I was having cervical spine surgery, where they fused 4 of my vertebrae together and put a plate across them. They said that I had so much scar tissue in my spinal column that it was compressing my spinal cord to half the size it was suppossed to be, and I was lucky I wasn't already paralyzed. Surgery was the only option. I think that the idea of them digging scar tissue out from around my spinal cord is the part that scared me the most, but all went well, thank GOD. Although I feel like a completely different person, I am so glad that the nightmare is over!!! I won't ever have another crick in my neck considering it is all one piece now. But I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy. So a week after my surgery, my wonderful man proposed to me in front of my whole family. Of course I said "YES." For some reason, GOD gave me the perfect man. I waited my whole life for him, and finally he came to me. I do believe that God waited until we were both ready for each other before He brought us to each other. That is why we are so perfect together. So needless to say, I have had some EXTREME life changing events that have taken place here recently, but I am very excited about moving forward!!!)))
