LaShaun Tweedie

PRODUCER/AUDIO ENGINEER/SONG WRITER/MUSICIAN
LaShauns musical obsession started in elementary school where he started by playing the clarinet. Later he picked up the trumpet. He has won a number of outstanding musician awards and jazz soloing awards. In his senior year of high school (1996) he started tinkering with the piano eventually teaching himself the instrument. In 1996 after graduating from South Mountain High School he was selected as the lead trumpet player for the Grammy National High School All-Star Jazz Big Band. Since then, he has played in a wide variety of bands.
Throughout his musical career LaShaun has played trumpet and keyboards as well as composed and directed for a number of music festivals and competitions. With a unique instrumental sound of funk, R&B, rock, blues and jazz, he brings together an exciting flavor to the world of music.
LaShaun has had the opportunity to play and work with some of the worlds top musicians, vocalist and comedians, such as: Marion Meadows , Ray Brown , Lionel Hampton , Lou Rawls , Arturo Sandoval , Emilio Castillo , Marisa Ronstadt , Paul Rodriquez , Sinbad and others.
LaShaun has recently started producing some of Arizonas new up and coming bands and solo talents. Check out The Leads . This group is an up and coming Indie/Rock group.
