About Me

..

Hi, I'm Courtney Zepeda-Hawkes. I have been doing make-up for 15 years. I started out in salons and retail, but decided I needed more creative work and started freelancing , doing make-up and hair, in 1999. I worked for the first Sephora in the States in NYC and I have trained with over 35 cosmetic companies. I am also trained as a henna tattoo artist and have 9 years of experience under my belt.

I am available for print, film and event work. Ideally, I am looking for paying jobs, but will consider TFP/TFCD if the concept and the talent are really out-of-sight! I love an opportunity to really push and exercise my abilities. My greatest joy is getting creative and creating something that looks like it could be a glamour/fashion/editorial shot for a fashion magazine. I don't get many opportunities in NC to do that and it definitely doesn't get me work in this market.

I am available to travel, at the expense of the client. If it is a collaboration for TFP/TFCD, then that's something I want to do, therefore, I am responsible for getting myself there.

It's highly likely that you will start to see some of the sterling silver jewelry I make pop up in some of my photos. To check out my online shop, go to:
