About Me

I smell good. I'm a mean cook, love flying kites and recently took up the cello. Aloof cats gravitate toward me. I love driving north on the PCH - my mind just opens. Lighthouses are cool. Formal wear should be required. Bowling should not be made fun of. It's the great equalizer. Everyone looks silly doing it. Except for me. I'm like a freakin' ballet dancer on the lane. If Jews and Arabs bowled together there would be a peace in the Middle East. I'm an icthyophobe. It's true. A coquettish smile melts me. I used to love sunsets, but I've begun to sway toward dusk. It's more subtle, complex and rewarding. Like an oaky wine it requires patience to fully inhale. My yoga mat is purple. My yoga bag is purple. I love all things purple - except beets. Yellow beets confuse me. This year I planted 3 trees in Runyon Canyon for Tu B'shevat with Nashuva. Sadly, none of the trees were purple. I've never celebrated Tu B'shevat before, or planted a tree before. Now I'm gonna make both tradition. My favorite John Cage speech is "The Lecture on Nothing". The people who like "The Lecture on Something" just don't know where it's at. I travel with hep cats. Finger snapping allowed... ..
