About Me

Imagine the Dalai Lama after a double latte. Only slightly more caucasian. And with blonde hair. And wearing a spooner instead of an orange robe. In fact, I'm probably not so much like the Dalai Lama. Maybe more Spicoli, but not on pot. Or retarded. Well, probably about half-way in the middle. Learn it, know it, live it.I don't sit still too much, and when I do it's to enjoy something I just finished cooking. My days are too short to fit everything in. Tomorrow might already be planned, but by the time it becomes today, anything can happen. And yesterday is just the thing to talk about on the way to today's adventure.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

There are a lot of people who came here to find their dream; that's inspiring and I'd love to chat with those people. A lot of those people, however, dream of fame without work, and that's not inspiring. Pass.I came for the sunshine. And while that may not be as inspiring, I have no more expectations from this town, and I get what I came for 90% of the time. I hope that you get the same. And that you wear sunblock (at least 90% of the time).

The feast of St. Valentine

Self Help

After pacing around Powell's over the holidays, I had a few revelations.  It's quite the place for quiet reflection, losing one's self in thought, and forgetting time as you pick through the book...

Better?

If you aren't a better person today than you were yesterday, then you have wasted yesterday.
