Inspector Minsini

About Me

Young Minsini saw tragedy at an early age. Through the horrific reality of witnessing his nanny mudered, he pledged his life to the arts of forensic science.....and also attempting an oblivious music career. After a short lived enrollment to the West Point Military Academy, Minsini was dismissed after an incident regarding a young Nantucket stowaway, who was mysteriously murdered and eaten. Although Minsini was never convicted of the atrocious crime, it lingered around him like an evil shadow on a clear sunny day.Sadly, he slowly succumbed to mental illness and was admitted to Spring HarborMental Institute in Maine, where he would remain for the next two years. Some say through his tormented and sometimes neurotic obsession with death and violence, birthed an incredible appreciation for the beautiful yet tragic mysteries in life.Minsini now lives out his life in a retirement home, which will remain nameless, where he suffers delusional ideas of being a private detective wielding his forensic powers in order to rid the world of scum and regain his honorable name. Oh...and yes...write some really cool backing tracks to go with it.Lately the Inspector has been seen performing with a band called NowSoonNowhere. ************************************************************ **********************"If there's one thing which I think holds things back here it would unfortunately have to be Minsini's vocals. He's just not that strong vocally and more often than not I found that his voice didn't really complement the song and the power of the music as well as it should have." -Ryan Sparks, Sea of Tranquility (Samadhi - review)***************************************************** ***************************** "Vocal chameleon Inspector Minsini (seriously?) often sings NSN's unintelligible lyrics as though he's fronting a cabaret in hell...The Inspector sings in a stunning voice and the instrumental passages, while reflective of NSN's other material, come off sounding both more playful and more purposeful." -Micheal Popke, Sea of Tranquility (Character Studies - review) ************************************************************ ***********************NowSoonNowhere: Samadhi (2007) NowSoonNowhere: Character Studies (Le Théâtre de l'Absurde) (2008)
