About Me

My faith guides every aspect of my life. God has worked in my heart in amazing ways and has saved me from myself. I think the term "saved" is overly used and often mis-used. I have personally experienced an amazing change in how I live my life, and I truly feel like a new person, a new creation "IN CHRIST". I would NEVER tell anyone else how or what to believe, but am always happy to share what my faith means to me. To each their own!
These are some of the verses that have meant the most to me lately:

I am an incredibly passionate person. Most sincerely about God, my children, my family, helping others, life, art and the outdoors. I am very forgiving, loving, trusting, and resilient. I am always the first to apologize and the last to care for my own needs. I'm in the process of re-building my life right now, and am a very deep thinker. In many ways, I'm trying to re-discover a confidence that I have lost in the last few years. Day by day, moment by moment, I'm learning more about the world around me and what I am capable of enduring.
I love really good tea. I'm a sucker for a good movie. I have a thing for cooking for people and making others smile. I enjoy long walks on the beach. Seriously. :) I am writing my first book, and a series of short stories to try to get published. I am working on becoming a member of the Christian Writer's Guild.
