About Me

Check out this MySpace MP3 Player !

My World Visitor Map!

28 y/o resident of Buffalo. I can't possibly express the depth of my awesomeness in a short paragraph - when there is so much greatness to work with it would be unfair if I shortchanged us both by being half-assed about it.

I work for a company that monitors other companies to ensure that their employees aren't being taken advantage of by their employer. Its a hard job to describe, but the easiest way to put it is that its a human rights kind of thing. Our company has offices in Buffalo, Mexico City and other satellite offices in Pakistan, Bangladesh and India. We travel to 30 states in the US, as well as Central America and the Carribean. So yeah, I rack up alot of frequent flyer miles. Trust me, nobody flies more than I do... unless you are a pilot or a flight attendant.

My Interests

Music, Elmwood, the female body, coffee, Indian food, the west coast, my ipod, news, money, classic cars, debating, traveling, the Belgian beer garden my boy Rubes took me to in NYC, old friends, "good girls," late nights, early mornings, the Sabres, the occasional cigarette, Stella Artois, Premier Gourmet, BBQ sauce, other MySpace profiles, nag champa, sleep, music festivals, candles and making people happy. Don't question me on the BBQ sauce - that is good on anything!

I'd like to meet:

Past Presidents, Jim Morrison, Willie Nelson, J.P. Morgan, Deion Sanders, the entire Chelsea FC squad, the boys from World Soccer Daily, Marilyn Monroe - or just hot ladies. I am a people person - just say hi to me.

Music:

Rock of the indie and alternative varieties... mostly British. Anything but country. This list would literally be a mile long if I had to name every band, composer or artist I like. If it sounds good to me, I like it... but I have a tendency to be a musical snob. I -do- want to send special props out to my local boys Lazlo Hollyfeld.

Movies:

Hitchcock and Tarantino. Bond films. Guy stuff. There is no girl on the planet that could coerce me into watching chick flicks - I don't give a damn whats on the line!

Television:

News and sports - mainly sports. I'm absolutely addicted to the English Premier League. I never miss our hockey team - big up to the blue and gold!

Books:

Kerouac is my favorite author - my favorite book of all time is On The Road. Poe, Neruda, Joyce, Hesse, Hemingway, Blake, Nabokov, Twain, Hawthorne, Thoreau, political magazines. I'm not too picky and I'll read just about anything as long as it interests me. This definitely excludes any and all kind of lefty publications, instruction manuals, the articles in Playboy, anything Michael Niman writes and PETA propaganda.

My Blog

Update

I've not been in the mood to write much - I've been consumed with other crap that clouds my head like a fog over a Scottish moor.  I wish that I could just flip a switch and clear my head - for t...

ARGH!

I wrote a 5-star rant that expressed my genuine hatred of Rosie O'Donnell, but as usual I set it to diary mode for editing before publication.  You will be able to check it out and nod your heads...

Spamming has robbed me of potential joy.  Every single friend request I get is from a fake hottie, so when the day comes that some obscenely gorgeous lady wants to be my friend, I'm going to inst...

The Academy Awards

I truly hate the Academy Awards ceremony, right down to the very narcissistic, contrived and self-aggrandizing core of it all.  I can't think of another celebration in American culture that is mo...

Zach Braff, and other topics

Zach Braff may be some things, but the LAST thing that he can legitimately be given credit for is his supposed insight into the twenty-something generation.  The funniest and yet truest thing I'v...

Valentine's Day

To all the ladies I know, love and treasure - a gift of rolling hills, smiling sunshine, a rose, a credit card, seagulls, blue skies and a box of chocolate...I'm avoiding work today, so besides my dra...

A Continuation

Very few of you (but some of you!) know that I've blogged for over two years on a community site.  Yes, we Swedes have been blogging since the term "blog" was simply known as "weblog," and before...
