People United for Funk will be a conglomerate of musicians collectively sharing their interpretation of Soul Music. It is about how our souls are connected to the sounds of music that tells us who we are as individuals in this large world, or tells us who we are as people in this small world (If you think about it!). By the way, Soul Music is Global. What ever you do......! (J.B.) I've learned how to play percussions by listening to some really great music. I feel its a responsibility, just out of respect to the great music, to play as best I can. To create the sounds needed in the right space and time. Sounds that are placed appropriately, according to the energy of the composition. Percussions that complete the picture, as well keep your head bopin', your foot tappin'
