Spending good quality time with the wife and kids(doesnt necissarily have to be my own). Sharing laughs with people or at least giving them the feeling that I am laughing WITH them! I enjoy Golfing. Where else can you spend 45 dolars to stand in the middle of a field and yell obcenities! I like being outdoors which is only enjoyable during the summer months here in Ohio. That usually spans from July 25th to July 27th, give or take a day. I also like to sit around. Nothing too physical for me unless it involves food or sex. Best when the two are combined. In my younger days I may have even thrown a little alcohol in for the trifecta but now a days I just dont want to risk pulling a hammie or even worse a back injury. I dig all kinds if music. Can play a few instruments(if you include the juice harp and kazoo!!) I enjoy reading. Usually read a book or two a month. Helps me to sleep at night also gives the ol hamster wheel upstairs a spin. I could ramble on for pages about things that I am Interested in. If you want more just ask and I'll tell ya!
God and tell her thanks for the good times and way to go on the universe
I am into all sorts of stuff. I don't care for most country however I do like western if that makes sense. I have to say that I am a true rock and alternative kind of guy but I dabble in a little of everything. Some great new finds of mine...Blue October/Foiled(newer Peter Gabrial sounding rock)...Matisyahu(the raggae rabbi as my wife and I call him) Got the AFI disc..its ok. Recently re-purchased some old Overkill/Years of Decay..still bitching after all this time. Best of Propain...good motivational music. Eon/Void Dweller..I had to search the interet high and low to get this one but well worth the effort. Eon is an early techo group that has some great mixes if you're into that sort of thing. I can't leave out 10years...with the new disk comming out I am eagerly waiting to see if they can top the Autumn Effect. I also have to give a shout out to my boys on the West Coast..Atterly. You can dig 'em on myspace.
For some reason I am hooked on Prison Break. You'd think with a story as drawn out as it is I'd be able to kick it by now but I cant seem to shake it. My wife got me into Ugly Betty and I have to say that it is damn funny. I highly reccomend Buying the Arrested Development series or TiVo them when they are re-ran because it is one of the most clever shows I have ever seen. Reno 911 is another knee slapper.
The whole Clan of the Cave Bear Series (Earths Children; Jane Auel) Fabs!!!! Pillars of the Earth(Follet) Just about anything by James Mitchner(sp?) The Source, Caravans heck all of his books are good. I really dig Dr. Seuess and all the good books that I can read to my girls!!. If you have kids I recommend that you stay away from Love you Always. Short little book that will make you cry like a Girl Scout with melted cookies.......so I've heard. I have read several of Patricia Cornwells books(Dr. Scarpetta has a thing for me you see) My wife has turned me on to several good ones. If you need some recomendations just ask!
My heros arent in comic books...everyday people just like yourself. Why? Why not? You want to be my hero? Pet a stray dog. Smile and wave to that little kid looking out of the back window in the car stopped next to you at the red light. Pick up someone elses litter. Serve a hot meal to someone with cold hands. Real heros dont get recognition They just get that warm feeling.
