Mr.Guan

It all began when young Mr.Guan found the mixer of his father in the attic at the age of 12. Years after this hiphop music such as De La Soul and A Tribe Called Quest blended with funk and soul became the roots for his musical activities. Scratching and cutting soon became a quality that he also provided for various bands and producers. 2003 was the year when he and three other friends founded The Loud Minority dj collective and party promotion team. He played alongeside hot dj..s like Kid Sublime(Dopness Gallore/Amsterdam), Dj Mitsu the Beats(Jazzy Sport/Japan), Waajeed(Slum Village/Detroit), Peanut Butter Wolf(Stonesthrow/L.A.) and suporting acts like Platinum Pied Piepers(Ubiquity), Dudley Perkins(Stonesthrow),TY(Big Dada) just to name a few. Mr Guan is still shaping his sound on a daily basis trying to make his records shake hands! From old to new and new to old from Funk to Soul to Hiphop, Disco, Broken Beats, Afrofunk and Latin Beats and anything else thats funky and works on the dancefloor!
