I'm a pretentious music snob who'll listen to forms of alternative, bossa nova, classical, electronica, experimental, gothic, hip hop, indie, opera, polka, pop, punk, reggaeton, screamo, shoegazer, ska, standards, etc.. as long as it's done well.
I'm partial to foot-tapping when it comes to syncopated, off beat styles, minor key tonality, melodic string parts - mixed with acoustic and electric instrumentation. Lyrically poetic subject matter really strikes my fancy as well.
