i'm absolutely in love with GOD and everything HE does. i don't ever claim to know everything, and i rarely claim to know anything. i've been built to be a revolutionary. people always ask what the meaning of life is and i believe that it is to love and be loved by GOD. i've been built to love and love i shall. i believe there is one TRUTH. i want to live simple without concern for the american dream. i believe another world is possible. that love is the answer to everything, and i must lead by example. that life is simple but not easy. i was built to be a revolutionary.
all these years, i knew there was something more to Christianity than what western culture has been feeding me. i knew i had a bigger purpose, a bigger role, a bigger destiny, a bigger hand in the Kingdom to come. my GOD is not a stoic GOD. but HE is a GOD with emotions, and HE calls me HIS favorite one and delights in me. i am dark, yet HE calls me lovely. i am the very apple of HIS eye. i am a part of HIS Bride that HE is purifying for HIS wedding day, HIS final return. not just to spend Eternity with but to rule and reign the coming Kingdom with, then to be returned to my FATHER. i fight for an authentic sense of urgency that will keep me feeding on Eternity. it keeps me focused on today, but living for the Hope of tomorrow. i am continually reminded that everything is temporary, and i am to hold on to nothing and put my trust in nothing of this world and its systems. i will not be found in drunkenness when my LORD returns for HIS Bride. i will properly prepare myself for the future persecution, for everything that can be shaken, will be shaken in order for the GOD of Justice to have Love be the victor. and i will not be offended the day HE removes everything that hinders Love.
i believe that i have been called to intercede for my generation and all the people of the nations. i truly believe that prayer is the highest and most glorious calling on my life, my true spiritual sacrifice. like king david, i'm after the very heart of GOD, and through intimate prayer i am able to align my heart and will with HIS. i partner with the jealous HOLY SPIRIT to birth change in my city and generation. i relentlessly intercede with zeal and passion in order to swiftly bring the essential revival and justice to the nations. i plead on behalf of my nation to end abortion and its involvement in other social issues and contend to turn the hearts of my generation back toward GOD. i pray for laborers to be sent with the needed apostolic authority, in order for CHRIST to manifest HIMSELF through human vessels, through the Church so that people would finally bend at the Gospel and truly be saved from themselves. i strive to live a fasted lifestyle. to live simply, humbly and lowly. to be in a constant practice of withholding myself from fleshly desires and needs such as food and media. this progresses my full break away from the worldly systems that i and every Christian are called to no longer be a part of. i believe that prayer, not the latest twelve step program, will bring the true deliverance and healing that the church needs in order to be the servant of all.
i now understand what real Grace is and it's purpose in relation to Holiness. it's not what the relevant, post-modern culture that is so popular in my generation is preaching. my life will preach another KING, another caesar. my Holiness will and has offended people, and i will not apologize. the importance of Holiness is beyond what my compromising generation gives it. my weapons are not carnal. i do no fight in the flesh; i fight in the realm of virtue with meekness and gentleness. my weapons are mighty and they bring down strongholds that will give us true liberty. without Holiness, my Gospel is cheap and wide; GOD will never entrust me with HIS Gospel, and i will be weak, without purpose and power. i want to manifest CHRIST on the earth, to be the servant of the people HE served and loved so much HE died for them. to love HIM is to obey HIM and trust that HE has a better life for me, if not now but in the age to come. JESUS clearly set the standard of Christianity with HIS life and explained it simply through HIS sermon on the mount. i will not compromise or explain away these standards, but i am to live them out with HIS Grace pushing me through. i will fight to finish the race, and i will not give up. i will see HIS Face.

i'm not saying that i have this all together, that i have it made. but i am well on my way, reaching out for CHRIST, who has so wondrously reached out for me. friends, don't get me wrong: by no means do i count myself an expert in all of this, but i've got my eye on the goal, where GOD is beckoning us onward—to JESUS. i'm off and running, and i'm not turning back.
