My name’s Jordan. I guess I'm complicated unless you know me.
I'm a big fan of music. It's my all time favorite form of escapism. In fact, I think what used to make me so introverted was that I used to wear headphones MOST of the time. Not that I was antisocial or anything, I just liked the feeling that I was putting a soundtrack to my life. I guess feeling like I was in a movie all the time made things high school a little more bearable.
I learned how to play the guitar a few years ago and picked it up pretty quick. I like it a lot. I still feel far from talented, but it's nice to hear if I'm impressing someone every once in a while. I you catch me on a good day, I might sing for you... If you catch me on a bad day, I might just sing for you even louder.
I'm currently in school right now studying Sound Art at Ex'pression College for New Media. It's an amazing school and I don't think I've ever been this excited about educating myself. I get to work with some pretty cool people sometimes. I'd like very much to start up my own record label. I have a few other business ventures I'd like to pursue one day, but I've decided the label comes first. Also, I really like sound engineering and really getting some good hands on experience on real projects. It's pretty rewarding.
I'm in the military now. Have been for about three years. It's pretty boring most of the time, and I've yet to meet any girls that fall head over heels for the uniform, but I suppose it's alright. I'm not completely sure why I joined. I guess it just seemed like a positive thing to do with my life. I'm in the Air Force, which is a far cry better than any other branch, so that's good (this comment's gonna get me in trouble) haha. And no, I don't fly planes... unless you're a cute girl who's asking. In that case, yes. I do fly planes.
Other than that, I'm just a laid back guy with extreme social anxieties and insecurities just like anyone else. I don't like the idea of a hopeless romantic, but I know that's what I am. Especially the first part. I'm usually nice to anyone I meet, but first impressions are important to me, so don't fuck up. If I just met you and you sneeze towards me and blow snot and spit all over my cheek... that's how I'm remembering you from now on. As Snotty McGee.
