About Me

Sometimes...out of a storm comes a shining light.

Tonight I find myself between a rock and a hard place. My ears find an unforgettable tune...the anthem of my best friend's death. A tidal wave of emotion floods my heart.

What irony...when such a blissful song commands such mournful thoughts.

I sink into myself...I let the moment carry me. "It's a beautiful day." Well, interestingly enough, it was a beautiful day that day. And from all the tears I shed...from all the sobs I blew from my lips...I carried something with me. A certain strength was born out of the part of me that died.

As these thoughts of mine subside, the white noise of voices and laughter fade into the foreground...my sadness fades into a psuedo contemptual existence.

But life is good now. For all the problems and obstacles that throw themselves into my path: my journey still progresses...my soul still burns.
