Random Thoughts- I'm currently in Tanzania for almost 6 weeks doing medical mission work and seeing some of the country. I'll be in a clinic near Arusha with a Volunteers in Medical Missions team for a week, then we will go to the Serengeti and see the animal migration. Then I am in a clinic/hospital near Mwanza with International Health Partners of Tanzania for another 2 1/2 weeks. Then over to climb Mount Kilimanjaro! Return home on March 19... yes, the afternoon before Match Day! Read my blog to keep up with me and to send me messages. I love and will miss all my friends & family!
About Me: BELIEVE. I’m a very passionate person- I think life is valuable and being half-hearted isn't an option. I enjoy learning about different ideas, trying new things, and exploring new places. I have a list of places I want to visit and things I want to do and try before I die. I believe in hard work and busting your butt to achieve your goals, and I get very annoyed by lazy or close-minded people. However, I know we can't do it all on our own and there are things that are out of our control. I've learned a lot about myself and about humanity through various experiences in life, and they've made me a better person. Life has certainly shown me that truly some of God’s greatest gifts are unanswered prayers. I'm blessed with a very close and wonderful family and incredible friends, and I absolutely wouldn’t be where I am without their love and support. I think intelligence and a wicked sense of humor are sexy and that lack of ambition or work ethic are total turn-offs. I talk a lot, but I also am a good listener and remember things people say and enjoy good discussions & debates.
