Influences: You know when you hear a brand new band and they're basically just another soundalike of The Latest Big Thing, or the singer sounds exactly like Kurt Cobain, and you just know that that's how they wanted to sound...?
Anyways, what I'm trying to say is that I've always tried to take an organic approach to my music. I've never tried to sound like anyone else and I've always tried to let things happen naturally. Nothing forced... Sure, I've got my heros like everyone else but I look to them for inspiration, not plageurism...
So, when people ask who are my influences, I struggle a little. But when people ask who has inspired me the most. Well, that's easy...
Singers like Marvin Gaye, Richard Ascroft, Neil Diamond, Thom Yorke, David Line (singer in Seafood - one of most criminally under-rated and under-exposed bands in the world), Jimi Goodwin, Chris Martin, and last but not least, The Greatest Frontman In The History of Rock and Roll - Mick Jagger!
