About Me

Our debut CD, "Meet the Griffles" is now available. In San Francisco you can buy it at The Music Store on West Portal, at the Market and Castro Streetlight Records , and at Amoeba on Haight St and also Amoeba in Berkeley. For those outside San Francisco, you can buy it from CDBaby .
"Meet the Griffles" is also available for to purchase from iTunes and it's also available for download from DigStation (and you can listen to samples of album tracks there.)Or if you like, purchase the CD direct from the band using PayPal:
The Winsome Griffles play a discerning and spirited mix of southern/Americana/rural tunes from the Great American Songbook, plus sassy originals just fer kicks. Sincerity and humor vie for lead during high energy and splendidly played sets. The Griffles are an ideal supplement to many diverse bills, and additionally are not bad at all with a thick slab of crisp pepper bacon and a stack of Saltines.Their music is fermented and distilled using choice ingredients such as harmony vokes, piana, base gittar, banjo, and a kit o' tubs. It's good neat and on the rocks.Check out our photos on flickr
