KALLIL GIOVANNI

Kallil was born on April 3rd, 1983 in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He grew up in church singing gospel music with his friends and family. Kallil first noticed he could really sing when he went to high school. He was in every choir, quartet, musical, and or musical group there was. Kallil's hard work finally paid off when he was voted All State two times during his sophmore and junior years in High school. He also noticed he had a knack for teaching music, writing songs and getting poeple to show their full potential. So kallil decided to persue music full time; but where he lived (Raleigh, North Carolina at the time) didnt offer any opportunities for getting discovered... Or so he thought. Still kallil presssed on and did what he thought was best at the time.... He did what all crazy people with nothing to do did... He joined the Navy. Moving near lowell, mass was a new step for Kells as he had never lived away from home; but being alone would pay off. Finally, Kallil was prompted to attend choir rehersal at the chapel on base where he was stationed. There; he met Nef of Nef productions, and partner of Sure Fire Music Group (SFMG). Later that week he met up with Nef at the studio, where he was further introduced to Versatyle, one of the hottest Unsigned rappers on the east coast, and together they recorded a song... "Dream On". And thats exactly what kallil did. Combining a Soultry Gospel feel with his love for R&B led Kallil to SFMG where he is proud to be apart of the Fam.
