ABOUT THE RICKYS

Formerly known as The 'Luscious' Rickys, the Rickys are Tauntons hottest indie five-piece. Spurring tunes reminiscent of Blur, The Clash, Interpol and The Smiths this band is a must see. Having played over 80 shows since forming in 2006 and supporting the likes of The Hoosiers, The Sunshine Underground, The KBC, Chikinki, Make Good Your Escape and The Infadels these lads are on the wave of the indie surf and looking to conquer the UK at a storm! The boys released their debut EP 'The Fashion' in October 2006, recorded by Neil George at Coombeshead Studios in Devon. This was followed up by the exciting 'The Rickys EP' in october 2007. Currently the band are at university and finding it hard to gig as much as they were. They will be back with a few gigs over the easter period and come the summer the boys will be concentrating on writing new material, recording and hitting the road hard once again!!
