Nothing much really that isn't already answered. I love to draw, paint, read, cook, bake, volunteer, design clothes, meet new people, explore new things, enjoy nature, and travel in my spare time. I love animals. And I adore spending time with my cats, Matagot, Chloe and Cash, and my dogs Harley, Sahara and Brazier. And the rabbits and the birds. :)
I have my Associate's in General Studies and Liberal Arts. I am currently pursuing my Bachelor's in Sign Language, History and Mythology with an emphasis in Classical Studies, and finally I am 98% sure that I will continue on to earn my Master's and my Ph.D's in History and Mythology. I have written a book on mythology and, with any luck, it might be published by Pearson. It started as an Honor's Project that won first place in my college, was presented at the Western Regional Honors Conference to rave reviews, and now might become a published book. I'm a bit giddy.
I also enjoy photography and I have been told that I am quite good at it. I love history and studying it; especially the Ancient Romans, Greeks and Egyptians, as well as the Renaissance, French Revolution, early American, and Titanic History. I considered becoming a history teacher but I mostly detest teenagers, so I would have to get a job in a state that allows you to hit your kids and a long poking/slapping device that can be swung on an axis with great force.
I love to travel. Absolutely love to travel. I love meeting new people and experiencing new things, and travel is the perfect way to do just that. I think I inherited just a little bit of my dad's wanderlust. I'm never content just to sit and do nothing for too long. There is far too much to see and do in this world for me to remain in one place in forever. I credit a lot of this to being an Air Force brat. I was lucky enough to see more of this world by the time I was eleven that most people will see in their lifetime. But that still isn't enough. I want to see it all. For me, life is too short to be comfortable where you are and not to push your boundaries. Carpe diem.
I love talking to people. All sorts of people. As those who know me have come to see, I really can't be quiet. I love to discuss just about everything, to learn different points of view, to just talk to everyone. I think you grow stagnant if you don't expand your mind, don't attempt to learn all that you can. That's why I love talking to people. I truly believe that everyone has something to teach us, whether it be good or bad, monumental or miniscule, everyone we interact with affects us somehow. It's up to us to take the time to figure out exactly what that lesson is. We are creatures that become the sum of our experiences and interactions, and we constantly grow with them, and I think that is the beautiful thing about humanity."Not everything that can be counted counts,
And not everything that counts can be counted." Albert Einstein, physicist."You must be the change you wish to see in the world." Mahatma Gandhi.
