About Me

This is my personal page as well as my bandpage, since I pretty much am the band.
"Rose Garden is a death pop band, who mixes the high drama and theatrical rock of Queen, with the introspective subtle darker nuances of bands like Bauhaus. Metallic industrial undertones accompanying 80's synthetic new romanticism, brings together all these elements into an eclectic mix of what their primus motor; the impossibly beautiful androgynous frontman sir Morgan Toft likes to call "victorian rock".
The music could be described as gothic, mainly because of it's darker desolate themes rather than sound. Sir Morgan Tofts highly poetic, yet painful lyrics have a sincere dark touch of desperation but never loses its dark humor, which lends his songs a satirical edge, not often heard in this genre. Much like their multidimensional bandname suggests; it may seem haunting and beautiful from a distance, but get closer and you might prick yourself on its bloody thorns. Impressive stuff."
