His name is Lontastic. His style is versitile. This Young Emcee has been representing all genres of music since conception. But he never would've thought that lyricism would be his true niche. Starting as a producer first, Lontastic always had a true gift to make the crowd move with his melodies. It was not long after that he decided to make a real transitions into the music industry as an artist.
As time progessed, he began to form his own production team called Beat Machinery. Soon after he started the process of making an unstoppable production camp, he started to ease off the beats an began rapping. His exact words were " I only started rapping was so that the industry would listen to our beats ", after years and years of little progress. Shortly after he made the transition as part producer/rapper, people started listening. A couple of months later the production team signed to a independent label as in-house producers, and Lontastic signed as a solo artist. Now from this point on they had the assumption that they were going to get their foot in the industry, but little did they know, they were just starting to pay their dues. After being signed to the label for a little under a year (after two finished projects: Lontastic's album & Beat Machinery's mixtape) the label decided to shut down the studio and release to acts due to reasons unknown.
But not to sweat, Lontastic still kept his head up and continued doing what he did best and thats creating good music. Adding his westcoast swagger to the westide mentality of Atlanta, he began repping and claiming southwest Atlanta his new home. He states " I have moved around a lot, but I have always stayed on the westside of whatever town I was in ". And being that he has almost lived in Atlanta for a decade, I guess you can understand why he feels that way now. But he also has some crediblity in the rap game from some established industry artists, and executives. STAY TUNED for his new project entitled "The Curious Case of Lontastic" showing the transition as an artist over the past few years.
