If You Don't Hustle Hard, Don't Hustle At All!!!

About Me

Biography:
Patrick Dar'nell Edwards, known creatively as P-Easy, was born in Toledo, Ohio on October 21, 1981. Even though P grew up around music most of his life, it wasn’t until the age of 15 that he become personally involved in it, having been influenced by his cousin Ishmeal who returned home after his release from prison. P-Easy began spending his free time perfecting his writing ability and, during his senior year in high school, he released his first project along with rhyming partner and long time friend Damar. Like many aspiring independent artists, the two emcees financed the project on their own and upon release the project received mixed responses. The results of the project led P-Easy to take a hiatus from music and to follow what others might deem more “negative” paths in life.
After years of living by the streets and participating in a career choice of what will only be characterized as “less than that of a model citizen,” P-Easy decided his salvation from the streets lay solely in music. Through the help of friends Gutta Dave, Bus-1, Lex.Gunz and others, P-Easy made a head-turning re-introduction to the music scene and released a string of mixtapes including “OG Series Volume 1,” “Hand on the Pump,” “For The Money” which was hosted by industry heavy-hitters Team Invasion and DJ Green Latern, and finally “My Money is Dope Money,” which was hosted by AB the Whiteboy and mixed by DJ Mestro. P-Easy had re-invented his style and charm and is already well on his way establishing himself as a fixture in today’s urban music scene.
P-Easy’s music has been described commercially as the content and rawness of a Young Jeezy as could only be told first-hand by a Lupe Fiasco-esque poet who has lived it.
Currently, with the help and guidance of the production duo “The Arkiteks,” P-Easy is putting the final touches on his full-length solo debut, “Eyes on the Prize,” and is ready to lead off with his power single “I Chase Bread.”
P-Easy is ready to step up to the plate and makes it known that “This is for the Midwest. It’s our time and we will not be denied.”
