Music:

I love bluegrass and disco. I will not turn the knob if Steely Dan, the Eagles, or Fleetwood Mac come on the radio. Hank Williams 3 is the best country musician since Dwight Yoakam.

Movies:

I like dumb comedies and dark dramas. I can't stop watching Planes, Trains & Automobiles. Network is the best black comedy of all time. Slim Pickens is a god. Ditto Alfred Hitchcock.

Television:

NewsRadio (Phil Hartman years). Andy Griffith (Don Knotts years). Seinfeld (Larry David years). Twilight Zone (60s era). The Simpsons (the first decade). Good Times (John Amos years). SCTV (the network 90). Late Night w/ David Letterman (NBC years).

Books:

Non-fiction. I've lost my taste for fictional writing. Studs Terkel is a national treasure. I like Hunter Thompsons' political writing a lot. PJ O'Rourke is fantastic. I love Stephen King's short stories.

Heroes:

I don't have one, but RFK is close.
