Greetings! Marc here...or Cram as some of you call me...thanks for checking in. I'm a musician and producer based out of San Francisco, and spend my time on this planet creating music or working with others to develop their music.
On the musician side, I'm a sort of Donnie & Marie Osmond style guitarist...a little bit country and a little bit rock n' roll, not to mention a little bit funk, soul, r&b, and jazz too. I've been laying down funky guitar lines for years with the one and only pc muñoz as part of pc muñoz and the amen corner, and recently played on recordings for singer-songwriter Derek Lassiter and North Carolina rocker TS Leach.
On the producer side, I'm part of Talking House Productions, San Francisco's center for inspired music creation, development and production. At Talking House, we work with musical artists to help develop and record their musical ideas, producing records that the world can't live without. Some of the projects I've produced recently include Blueprints of Jazz, a series of recordings featuring historic jazz artists that may not have received as much attention over the years as their artistry deserves (the first three volumes feature Billy Harper, Mike Clark, and Donald Bailey); Canister, the latest release from indie rock darlings Elephone ; Beautiful Gun, the upcoming release from A Band Called Pain (recently voted the Bay Area's best metal band by the Bay Guardian); and individual holiday tracks from Scissors For Lefty , Persephone's Bees , The Lovemakers , Cast Of Thousands , and Silver Griffin as part of Talking House's A Foggy Holiday series.
When I'm not working on music, you might find me playing golf, eating some bbq, or drinking a Slurpee. (It might sound weird, but coke/banana is really one of the best Slurpee mixes out there - give it a shot.)
