About Me

I enjoy to getting to know new people all of the time, but gentlemen, please... lay aside the shyness. Us, ladies, love the confidence and boldness it takes to initiate the approach. I practice what I preach and I occasionally ask a guy out here and there. What can I say? I take pride in going after what I want. Just to give you an idea of what is attractive in a guy... confidence, sense of adventure and (the most coveted) being spontaneous.. a guy who has ambition in the work that he does and has at least one thing he is ultimately passionate about. Someone who is at least as outspoken as I am is a bonus, of course, the strong silent type is great too. About me? I become weak in the knees where chocolate and back scratches are involved. I take my cowgirl hat with me wherever I go.

My Interests

I am passionate for the great outdoors, enjoy exercising and staying fit, always interested in seeking new destinations, loved 'Baywatch' when it was on regular television, love to read, see movies, dance, garggle mouth wash, eat, sing in my car and just about anything else that can keep me moving.

I'd like to meet:

Anyone who enjoys doing just about anything... attending sporting events, movies, dancing, playing poker... whatever. I'm down-to-earth and drama free so I kind-of expect a reciprocated disposition. Oops! That's just like me to get ahead of myself. I love to learn new things so anyone that can teach me something new is mucho great (snowboarding is something I need to try). Essentially, I like meeting people who can hold a conversation (it's a biggie, trust me on this one), who are motivated and not embarrassed to admit to their guilty pleasures. A guy that likes chick flicks or has the color of his watch match his car... that's cool because I'm not a big fan those movies and I like watches. Opposites attract, right? A girl that can throw ninja stars... that's freakn' awesome!

Music:

I love anything from the classics (Frankie) to Gwen Stefani. Don't care much for country and... please! please rid the world of repetitive Kelly Clarkson singles! I adore Sarah Brightman!

Movies:

Yes. I'm afraid I am a 'Lord of the Rings' fan. I never dress up... but would you hold it against me if I did? My favorite movies consist of adventure and comedy. Ode to the classics of Chris Farley, Phil Hartman and John Candy.

Television:

The Office, Simpsons, Family Guy, Chapelle Show, My Name is Earl, Heroes, Ugly Betty, European Tours with Rick Steves :)

Books:

Wheel of Time series (Robert Jordan), Shannara series (Terry Brooks), anything by Mary Higgins Clark, biographies, mysteries, non-fiction, books for 'Dummies,' :) Lucky Charms cereal box... I'll read just about anything.

Heroes:

So many... give me a minute...

iPod Resurrected

Thanks to everyone who responded to my iPod dilemma. It is now up and running. I may now... -Go to the gym with pep in my step. -Effectively tune out other people. -Listen to hours of good stuff...
