So you want to know about All Sexy But Ginger?
Well, the party started 4 years ago when we use to kick out covers (often bad) and write really shite songs about blowjobs and general life. However, we eventually learnt how to write ‘good’ songs and over the four years of the bands existence we have been fortunate enough to share the stage with some amazing bands. Lil' Chris, Whitmore, Uncle Brian, The Holloways and Phinius Gage to name but a few. We have also been able to play various festivals across the country, which have left us with the most amazing memories.
Like most bands ever since day one we have dreamed about been the ‘next big thing’ or the ‘worlds greatest band.’ However, we know that it takes a lot to get to that point. So with this in mind your probably wondering…
“Why do you still keep gigging?†Well the simple answer to this is…The Fans!
The fans that attend our shows are always the most amazing fans we could wish for. We understand that every band says there fans are the best, but we really do mean it. Every gig they come to, they skank their arses off, sing the words (usually knowing the lyrics better than Jamie himself) and without fail give us the most amazing experiences night after night. So basically we will keep doing this as long as the fans want us too, and we aim to reach out to as many other people as possible.
So love and respect to all of you!
Jamie, Mick, Coulthard, McConnell and Fessey. xxx

Reviews
York Fibbers - "'the most energetic and memorable stage show on the underground.''
Matt - Phinius Gage "We have played over 500 shows all accross Europe. In that time, ASBG have stuck in my mind as one of the most confident, hard working, and likely to succeed bands we have seen. They have our total support and we wish them luck."
Drystone Radio - "Citing their influences from Sublime to Blink 182 it is hard to pin down exactly what kind of music it is All Sexy But Ginger play, and that is exactly how they like it. Asked to define their music, they describe it as unique and influential. It certainly does have an authenticity about it, with links to ska rock and punk but without the brass influence and instead with a modern rock sound making it at times loud, constantly energetic and most definitely worth a listen."
BBC Young Talent Website - "Well, they're not all ginger for starters, but this infectious Ska/Punk 5 piece are well worth seeing and with their catchy choruss they will have you humming for days on end."
Festival 07 review - "The undoubted favourites were indeed Lil' Chris and The Holloways, bt these were certainly closely followed by Four Day Hombre, Ali Whitton, and the ever crowd pleasing All Sexy But Ginger."
