In the beginning, my focus (musically) was strictly guitar. In December of 1995, I was 13 years old when i met my Obi-Wan (Wesley B.). He was the reason i started in music. He was one of my oldest brother, Ace's good friends and would always come over and play his guitar while us "youngins" would all stare in amazement. At that point i decided to pick up the guitar to be able to play one song, "Dee" written by Randy Rhodes (the guitarist for Ozzy in "Blizzard of Oz" & "Diary of a Mad Man" )
Wes wouldn't teach it to me until I learned some of the basics of guitar (which was completely understandable) Next thing I know I'm jamming out to the blues, learning every Metallica, Pink Floyd & Ozzy song i could, & whith-in 9 months from starting i was ready to learn my dream song. So i learned it, but at that point there was no point is stopping, i went that far right? I was stuck in the game not that it was a bad thing.
My best friend justin around the same time frame decided to pick up the bass, so we always jammed out and eventually formed a band with Ray (another good friend) called "Hypnotic Spectrum" . A 3 piece band that never could get a singer. In fact we almost had one but the kid mysteriously died a couple days before we were going to take him in. I think we took that as a sign and never did try to get another singer.
In 2002 I joined a band called ASYLUM a metal band here in Omaha. For some reason the singer "Ridley" wore a hockey mask that he used (I think) his sisters razzle dazzle fingernail polish to decorate. He said something about an alter ego. but lets face it, the guy was crazy. we played quite a few shows and it was a different drama episode every week (As the world turns). Out of that ordeal we ended up getting the spot to open for Soul Fly & Slayer @ Westfair in CB, IA, which was my last show with them. At that point i decided that metal was most certainly not for me. So i put my Jackson guitars and Marshal amps away and bought yet another acoustic guitar. (soul search i guess)
Mainly writing classical pieces for a couple years I finally tried to sing and play at the same time. Busting out with Johnny Cash songs at family reunions was always fun. But I got pretty bored playing other peoples' songs. I cut a CD with 3 tracks on it in 2004 that i never sold. My cousin was moving to California and she wanted my songs on a CD to listen to while she was out there. so i recorded it on my little 8-track recorder and maybe ended up giving out about 20 copies of it.

SIDE TRACK STORY: So i was in Vegas, sitting at a roulette table in The Flamingo. I'm talking to this guy from Florida about where we were from and all that jazz. when we got to the subject of me being a musician. He's like "YOU"RE THAT GUY!!!!" and he described my own CD to a tee to me, then reached into his back pack, pulled out his book of CD"s and BLICK-UP!!! there it is. . That made me happy but loosing 150 bones to the dealer didn't.
In 2006 i teamed up with a couple buddies to form "Life Long Summary". another trio only this time it was strictly acoustic guitar driven. we recently went separate ways to give them time with their families. So I'm stag again. But we had some exiting times: We released a CD in April of 2007, We opened for Days of the New in June of 2007, and we drank ALOT!!!
My songs are driven from all people/events in my life. The good, the great, the bad, and the ugly. All these things are what define my past. I'm a musician, I express myself in the form of notes and words.
