I'm a laid-back person who loves the outdoors and being active. My brain houses an eclectic store of information that I am inclined to spurt out at random. I've been told that I have no inner monologue on more than one occasion. I have several talents that have yet to find a purpose beyond amusing my friends and family – for example, my vast capacity for movie quoting and extensive knowledge of sea-faring skills such as knot tying and the ability to understand and use pirate lingo (the result of being a sailing instructor for 7 years). I tend to be optimistic and believe in the basic good of people, which I admit can lead to some naivety. I think grudges are an absolute waste of time. I love costumes and if I don't have the opportunity to wear one at least once a month, I go through withdrawals. I'm a big nerd. I even write my own book reports for kicks. I think that being multi-dimensional is the key to happiness. People who get bored, are boring. I'm extremely fond of traveling and experiencing new cultures. America is still the best country on the planet though! I could have gotten a "real" job out of college, but instead I decided to play professional volleyball in Spain and France. Even though it’s been hard to be away from my friends, family, and my irrationally tall boyfriend, I have found that taking the time for world exploration and personal introspection has been absolutely priceless.
Here’s what I’ve come up with so far:
While it's important to be driven, you also have to realize that life isn't that serious. What I mean is that you have to be able to sift through all of the petty and material things and give precedence to the truly essential: God, family, love and friends. You should be able to look back on life knowing that you loved others to your greatest capability and capacity, and that you never let an opportunity pass you by!
The videos below are a series of commercials I am in that were shot back in December. It's all very random, and you may not recognize me covered in black paint...

Le Coq Sportif Commercial with Yannick Noah:
In his heart a man plans his course but the Lord determines his steps.
-Proverbs 16:9
"Life is a storm. You will bask in the sunlight one moment, be shattered on the rocks the next. What makes you a man is what you do when the storm comes."
-Alexandre Dumas, The Count of Monte Cristo
Pics of the fam:
"Be more concerned with your character than your reputation. Character is what you really are; reputation is merely what you are perceived to be."
-John Wooden
These are a few of my favorite things...
