My interests? Photography, photography, photography. Did I say photography? I ALWAYS have a camera in my hands. My life is well documented. Art history (can't get enough!), reading, cooking, traveling, and spending time with my family. Taking our boat out, swimming, tubing, skiing, kayaking, really anything you can do in the water, when it's hot. I want to learn to surf next summer (we'll see how that goes).
I'd like to meet:
Introducing Sterling Thomas Cornelius and Ella Savannah Cornelius.....Ella and Sterling... Two Peas in a Pod!
Music:
I can never answer this one! I really can't say what "type" of music I like. My iTunes list is ridiculous! It's all over the place. I have everything on there from Sheryl Crow and Tracy Chapman to Johnny Cash to Louis Armstrong, and back to the Rolling Stones. So you tell me...
Movies:
Juno, Walk the Line, White Oleander, Oh Brother Where Art Thou, Original Sin, Closer, Grey Gardens (Maysles Brothers, yes, I went to art college), oh speaking of college, Art School Confidential was GREAT, but I think you have to have been there to truly appreciate it. Yes, it really was like that! Little Miss Sunshine- I don't usually laugh out loud in a movie theater, but I couldn't stop with that one. I HATE scary movies. I'm such a whimp, they all terrify me. I have to watch them with my hand over my eyes, and even then, I am still usually too freaked out to sleep for a week! Ask Leah, I can't even watch the trailers for scary movies!
Television:
We don't get very much English speaking TV here. But we do get CNN. It's about the only form of American television we do get. So, I'm very on top of my current events right now.
Books:
I read a ton of books, so it's hard to say which are my favorites, but some good ones I've read latley are One Mississippi, The Cotton Queen, Gods in Alabama, Between Georgia, Can't wait to get to Heaven, oh, and I read Gone with the Wind this summer, and it was amazing! I can't believe it has taken me this long to read it. Oh, I also really like Jodi Picoult, My Sister's Keeper, is her best. I also love Savannah Blues (makes me miss Savannah), and Crazy Ladies. I guess it's pretty obvious from that list, that I love southern fiction. What can I say? I'll always be a Georgia Peach at heart! Oh, I just remembered one more of my favorite authors- Erma Bombeck. Oh my gosh, she's about one of the funniest authors of all times!
Heroes:
My darling husband Michael, My Mom and my Dad (who I miss each and every day), no explanation needed! I can't imagine where I'd be without their love and support. I also love and respect my incredibly intelligent sister, Jennifer, and adorable little brother, Billy- he has the BEST life! Anyone who can e a successful parent. It's deffinately NOT as easy as it looks! I really respect creatively several photographers, including Sally Mann, William Eggleston, Eudora Welty, Lee Miller (the list could go on, but I'll spare you). My favorite and most influencial professor in college, Zig Jackson. Oh, and of course, Paula Deen! Hello, southern women can cook!
