I watch a lot of movies, but I especially like to read. Mark Twain put it best when he said,"Good friends, good books and a sleepy conscience: this is the ideal life."
All animal lovers. Anyone who knows how good it feels to surround and emerse yourself in nature and all the joys and beauty of the natural world.

My favorite movies are too many to list, but a few favorites are: Clerks, We Were Soldiers, Office Space, Snatch, Monty Python's Life of Brian and The Holy Grail, The Big Lebowski, The Shawshank Redemption, Heavy Metal, The Boondock Saints, Pulp Fiction, Raging Bull, Scarface, The Doors, Clockwork Orange, Killing Zoe, Alive, Evil Dead Trilogy, Night of the Living Dead, The Goonies, Princess Bride, Wedding Crashers, Old School,Talledega Nights, all Ralph Bakshi movies (especially Wizards )and of course all the major trilogies such as The Lord of the Rings, Star Wars (both old and new) and The Godfather (which is also one of my favorite books).
My favorite shows are "The Family Guy" and "Lost." but I also love everything that HBO does, especially "Oz", "The Wire" and "Deadwood". I will admit that some reality shows are guilty pleasures of mine. I like "Big Brother" and "Survivor"... and yes I know I am going to hell for that.
My favorite author is probably either Stephen King or Ray Bradbury, but I also like L. Ron Hubbard and Phillip K. Dick. You probably guessed that I like Science Fiction, but I also like to read non-fiction and pretty much anything that catches my interest. Some Favorites are: The Stand, Battlefield Earth, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?, The Godfather, Trainspotting, The Manhattan Hunt Club, Desperation, Animal Farm, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Call of the Wild, Lies My Teachers Told Me, Rip Van Winkle, The Short Stories of Ray Bradbury, The Langoliers, The Vampire Chronicles (especially Queen of the Damned), and many others.I collect old editions of classic literature. I have several first editions including Call of the Wild, 1984, Animal Farm and others. I don't mean to sound like a braggart, I just think they are cool. I love the way an old book feels in my hands. They are like a tangible pieces of history. (Damn I'm Corny) Fun Trivia: Mark Twain ( aka... Samuel Clemens) is a distant relative on my mother's side.
When I was younger I was the biggest Barry Sanders fan. I must admit that I still am, however I do not like to apply the term hero to athletes, and as corny as it sounds my biggest hero is my step-dad. He has always treated me like his real son, and he has always been a positive role-model. People that don't know tell me that we look alike, and I love that. Biology or not he is my father and my hero.
