In the world of hip hop, there has been a search for a true savior in the aftermath of the Jay-Z, Nas and Eminem era. In a time of social injustice, and scrutiny, Hip Hop has been searching for the next superhero, a person who could come in and take "the game" on his broad shoulders. Every incoming artist has been claming to be the next "Superman", or "Batman" who will save hip hop from destruction. One cool character, however, lies in the shadow, feasting his eyes on the opportunity to enter the game. Rayid "Famous" Bermea sits in the face of destruction, his shades hiding the hunger shining through his eyes. His voice rings calm and collectively, even when knowing this is his time for the taking. In his beginning stages of his career, Fame has seen many days of angst and pain growing up, knowing personally how could rock bottom can get.
Today, Rayid still operates under the Joker moniker, but also "flips the script" and becomes Famous on-call. He states that he is both depending on what will help him more that day. With Joker, being the wild, dark, loner that appears where there is a conflict, or just for the hell of appearing. Famous, being the cocky, happy, self-celebrity that he belives he is, mostly speaks to the women and loves to party. Rayid doesn't think this will be the end of his personalities as his mind begins to grow. Recently, in his town, Rayid has been very secretive about his projects so they are hungrily awaiting his next release. Famous has a flow deemed by many as undescribable mix of amazing metaphoric language, with a lacing of hunger and desire in his every word.
In the darkness of the future, Famous still had a fire in his eye, knowing that one day the opportunity to stardom would rise. Seen as an "outcast" to most fits of hip hop, Famous is looking to bring something different to the music industry in general. His motive is not the money, or the fans, but his message, that greatness can be achieved by anyone, they just have to find the way to attain it. Spoken like a true veteran, Famous sees the disparity in hip hop, knowing that now is the perfect time to become a mainstay in the homes of the fans who are starving for an artist with substance. With the chance to become a legend in his eyesight, Famous works as hard as anyone could imagine, knowing that this opportunity comes one in a lifetime, just like the talent he posesses within himself.
