About Me

A City in Silence was created some 3 years ago. The original line up of the band, Jordan stevens, james banky & Bobby coelho. Debuted at the portsmouth High School Battle of the bands. since then the band has gone through many lineup changes tho the original 3 still remain. around October of 2006. Peter Varrica and Tim Mccarthy joined a city in silence when still located in Fall river. The quickly learned the set and began playing shows as a 5 Piece. the sets were comprised of old songs such as Vale of Black, Synapse, & Tragedy. the bands progress came to a scream hault when bassist banky had to report to Iraq in january 07. Loyal friend and bassist Billybob stepped in as fillin bass until mid September 07. during that time, tim felt his need to leave the band and persue other indevors. when posting adds on the myspace for new guitarist. one of the first replys was Phil Vashon formally of angawen. he slowly but surely became apart of the group that noone will ever replace. we are now tighter and heavier then ever, lisa from rockkarma has helped us a huge amount as our manager. and we are currently in the midst of recording out full length cd. we are a city in silence.
